Plan Optimization and Management
Carrier plans are constantly evolving and increasingly complex. Common plans include Limit, Pooled, Tiered, Soft-cap, Up vs. Down vs. Combined, Roaming vs. Home, etc. To make it exponentially worse most Enterprises have to deal with multiple plan types from multiple carriers in multiple countries. The Plan Management Module allows you to create in less than 30 seconds any plan offered by carriers (wired or wireless) so that you can optimize which plan best suits which user. The Plan Management Module also lets you easily administer plans to your users, including an automated ordering mechanism for the carrier billing system.
OUT OF THE BOX PLANS INCLUDE:
- Fixed usage limits
- Pooled data plans / pool user groups and categories
- Tiered/Flex plans
- Upload vs. Download based plans

KEY FEATURES:
- Creating and importing plans

I HAVE AN “UNLIMITED PLAN,” WHY DO I NEED THIS?
- Truly unlimited plans are very rare on a global level, the US is one of the few markets that offer them
- Most “unlimited” plans actually are not unlimited and have a cap in the fine print. We have many customer horror stories of people who “thought” they were unlimited but got huge unexpected bills
- International roaming is never covered in the plan and is hugely expensive
- Most people spend too much for the unlimited plan and never know it; Telicost will alert people they can save money if they can buy a smaller plan. The average North American 3G Modem user only actually uses approximately 160MB per month. Therefore, the average user does not need a costly unlimited plan
- There are many other “monitoring” reasons Telicost gets deployed such as tracking device activity for HR reasons (I gave Frank a Blackberry and he has used Zero data, is he actually working?) and data activity for security reasons (Why is Frank transferring 500MB at Midnight on a Saturday?)
